St. Patrick School is a diverse Catholic community centered in Jesus Christ. We work in partnership with parents to prepare our students to become educated and morally responsible citizens. Philosophy We, at St. Patrick School, seek to develop moral and spiritual individuals. We expect our students to embrace the importance and value of prayer, personal reflection, and the guidance of Christ's message. Our students learn to appreciate, understand, and internalize the Catholic faith. Our goal is to develop a solid base in life strategies in order for them to make healthy and courageous choices. Our Primary focus encourages students to be responsible and and respectful individuals able to appreciate diversity. We expect our students to assume responsible citizenship and to demonstrate positive social attitudes and ethical behavior. We strive to foster in our students a positive sense of self-worth and to develop fully integrated individuals. Our goal is to provide opportunities for students to explore their individual talents through various venues. This emphasis will help our students to maintain a healthy, balance lifestyle. St. Patrick School strives to provide a classroom environment that develops the whole child. Mastering academic standards and developing leadership, technological, and organizational skills is the immediate impetus behind all instruction. |
Math - Common Core StandardsThese new standards build on the best of high-quality math standards from states across the country. They also draw on the most important international models for mathematical practice, as well as research and input from numerous sources, including state department of education, scholars, assessment developers, professional organizations, educators, parents and students, and members of the public.

Science - Next Generation Science Standards
The National Research Council (NRC), the National Science Teachers Association, the American Association for the Advancement of Science, and Achieve have developed a framework that describes the vision of what it means to be proficient in science. This vision rests on a view of science as both a body of knowledge and an evidence-based, model and theory building enterprise that continually extends, refines, and revises knowledge.
